TLD Coverage and Registry Limitations
UptimeObserver’s Domain Expiry Checker currently supports approximately 40 top-level domains (TLDs).
The information available for each domain extension depends on its registry. Some registries publish complete expiration and registrar information, while others provide only limited technical data.
Use the table below to see which information is normally available for each supported TLD.
Check a domain’s expiration date
A TLD can be supported by the checker even when its registry does not publish every field.
The following labels describe data availability:
- Available: The registry normally publishes this field.
- Limited: The field is available only in certain records or circumstances.
- Not published: The registry does not make this field publicly available.
- Varies: Availability can differ between registrars or individual domains.
- Unavailable: The checker cannot currently retrieve this field.
- Unknown: Availability has not yet been fully verified.
Public registry data can change. For domains you own, always use your registrar account as the authoritative source for renewal and billing information.

Registry-specific limitations
The notes below explain important limitations that cannot be communicated clearly inside the coverage table.
You do not need a detailed section for every TLD. Add one only when the registry has a significant limitation, unusual lifecycle or important interpretation requirement.
